● The Okoppe Town Web Hazard Map (hereinafter referred to as "this website") is a website where users can view information on tsunami, flooding (maximum scale and planned scale), and locations in Okoppe Town at risk of landslides and other soil-related disasters on their computers or smartphones.

● Data on each location concerning hazards, features, administrative districts, etc. on this site are outlined for public disclosure only and may have errors.
● All hazard location data on this site was predicted based on certain conditions, and there is a possibility that it may exceed the prediction at the time of actual disaster.
● The aerial photograph used on this site is the one taken by the Geographical Survey Institute. Regarding its terms of use, it complies with those of the Geographical Survey Institute.

This Terms of Use (“Terms of Use”), constituting a part of the terms and conditions of using the website (this “Website”), governs your use of map data available in this Website (the "Data") and forms a valid and binding contract between you and Kitami City . Please make sure to read this Terms of Use before using the Data. Once you access or start to use the Data, you shall be deemed to have agreed to this Terms of Use.

4.2 In any of the following cases, Okoppe Town reseves the right to temporarily suspend provisions of all or any portion of the Data on this Website without a prior notice to you:
(i)When conducting emergency maintenance or inspection of this Website;
(ii)When operation of this Website becomes impossible due to an accident such as fire or blackouts, natural disasters such as earthquakes or floods, war, riots, labor disputes,or any other cause beyond control;

＜Information on Tsunami＞
●Tsunami disaster alert areas are areas designated by the prefectural governor where there is a risk of harm to the lives or bodies of residents in the event of a tsunami of the largest class, and where alert and evacuation systems must be set up so that residents can "escape" from tsunamis in order to prevent casualties.
●The reference water levels, which are announced when areas are designated, clarify the height at which one is safe from a tsunami, serving as a guide for efficient development of evacuation facilities and thus enabling highly effective evacuation measures.
●As tsunamis are natural phenomena that are inherently unpredictable, actual tsunamis may be larger than the tsunami inundation estimates provided here.
<Information on floods>
●According to the Flood Control Act, flood inundation anticipated areas are regions designated by the prefectural governor based on expected rainfall levels. These areas represent the extent and depth of flooding that may occur during river flooding events caused by heavy rainfall, whether on the maximum expected scale or the planned scale.Even when rainfall levels are lower than expected, flooding is possible, so residents living near rivers or in areas with significant inundation depths should pay close attention to rainfall conditions.
The following are the assumed maximum rainfall amounts for each river basin, which serve as the basis for calculation:

| ○Saruru River | ：Total rainfall of 144 mm over 2 hours |
<Information on landslide disasters>
●Based on the Act on Sediment Disaster Countermeasures for Sediment Disaster Prone Areas (commonly known as the "Sediment Disaster Prevention Act"), Sediment disaster warning areas ("yellow zones") and sediment disaster special warning areas ("red zones") are designated by Hokkaido Prefecture as areas where there is a risk of harm to residents in the event of cliff failure or debris flows.
●This Website was created for the purpose of providing information for evacuation behavior and activities when there is a risk of sediment disasters due to heavy rain, etc. by displaying areas that are at risk of sediment disasters, which lets residents know when that risk is present in areas near their residences.
